FREMONT, Calif., June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The Men’s Wearhouse (NYSE: MW) (the “Company”) today announced that it plans to issue an aggregate principal amount of up to $600 million of senior notes due 2022 (the “Notes”) in a private offering. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering of senior notes to pay a portion of the approximately $1.8 billion purchase price for the previously announced acquisition of Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. (Nasdaq: JOSB).
